March 2016 - Oscar Winners 2016, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and Zootropolis

Hi Everyone,

It's that time again. Time for me to upload another movie releases newsletter – giving you and me an overview of the major film releases hitting UK cinemas over the coming month.

I've had to use my little Sony Vaio laptop again to create and upload the newsletter; as my main PC is still on the blink. While I get my main computer fixed, I've “bitten the bullet” and purchased an Acer Revo One RL85 nettop. It cost over £200. Not a fortune, yet still a sizeable amount. But I can't keep squinting at that tiny laptop screen; It's driving me crazy. lol. I hadn't heard of nettops before, but they seem to be netbooks that sit on a desktop. Not as powerful as a proper home PC – but okay for the internet. The RL85 was recommended in the March 2016 edition of Computer Shopper to I thought I'd give it a go. I'll let you know how I get on with it next month.

Well done to all those nominated for an Oscar this year. And hearty congratulations to the winners. I am especially pleased that Leonardo DiCaprio won best actor for The Revenant. It was, as they say, finally his year. A notable performance that put him through a lot, and he is (one suspects) partly being rewarded for his entire body of work. Anyway, congrats to him. He seems like a great guy.

Here's the link to my March 2016 newsletter (approximate size 11MB):-

Please note: As some of my readers with old laptops or netbooks are finding that the Youtube embedded videos on my page are slowing down loading too much for their systems; I have decided to add the film trailers on day two of each month. That gives a day without the lag that these (for some reason) bloated Youtube videos are creating. To see the videos, simply visit my blog again after the first day of each month.

If you are going to the cinema in the next few weeks, As usual, I hope you have a really great time. Happy viewing!

Apologies: By the way, Blogger is sometimes stretching out some (but not all) of my paragraph breaks! lol. Does anyone know why or have any suggestions to stop this happening?
