Dear friends,

It looks as if 2015 is shaping up to be another great year for movies. And (starting in January) I hope to be uploading a free monthly PDF newsletter - Big Films Monthly - providing info about the major cinema releases.

Although, perhaps of most interest to UK and North American readers, I'm sure the newsletter will be useful to most English speakers throughout the globe. I'm thinking of also including a movie crossword puzzle and a few other pastimes – but the main focus will be on feature film releases.

Yes, indeed, there's much to look forward to in movie theatres over the next 12 months. Blockbusters such as Avengers: Age of Ultron, Jurassic World, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2, Ant-Man, The Fantastic Four, The Jungle Book, Jupiter Ascending, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and the return of James Bond in Spectre.

Other much anticipated delights include Fifty Shades of Grey, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., Tomorrowland, The Minions Movie, Kingsman: The Secret Service, and B.O.O.: The Bureau of Otherworldly Operations.

And, already playing in North America (but yet to open in the UK), Big Hero 6 and The Theory of Everything. (The latter being a biopic about Stephen Hawking - starring Eddie Redmayne and Felicity Jones). Happy viewing!
